Landscapes of Oman (3Days 2Nights)

1st day: Depart from Muscat to visit Jibreen Castle, pottery workshops in Bahla and the mountain village of Misfah. Enjoy a walk through old mud houses in Al Hamra & proceed to Jebel Shams via Wadi Ghul. On the way to Nizwa, visit ruins of old mud houses in Tanuf. Overnight stay at Falaj Daris Hotel / Nizwa Hotel.

2nd day: After Breakfast, Start the day with a visit to the oasis village Birkat Al Mauz. Drive further via Sinaw & Mudayrib to enjoy some dune driving in the Wahiba Sands. Proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid for a long swim. Reach Sur & check-in at Sur Beach Hotel.

3rd day: After Breakfast, Visit the fish market & the dhow building yard in Sur. Proceed via Qalhat visiting Bibi Maryam's Tomb, to visit Wadi Tiwi & Wadi Shab. On the further way, visit Finn's Beach & Bimmah Sinkhole. Drive via Quriyat to reach Muscat. Drop off in any hotel in Muscat.

Landscapes of Oman (4Days 3Nights)

Day One : 0800 hrs, we depart by a 4WD vehicle to Ras Al Junaiz via the scenic and rugged coastal route. This tour along the coastline offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches. We drive past the fishing village of Quriyat and our first stop is the Bimah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. On clear sunny days while driving along the coast one might chance to see sharks in the deep blue waters or fleet footed Gazelles sprint across the landscape. Drive ahead to Wadi Tiwi. The road to Tiwi winds between houses. The sight is remarkable with its lush green plantations with water flowing all year around. The Mausoleum of Bibi Miriam at Qalhat stands as testimony of a bygone era. As we continue from here the road winds through mountain terrain. We continue our drive to Ras Al Junaiyz, a sanctuary for the green turtles. Overnight stay in Ras Al Had Hotel. We have a short drive to the beach to watch the turtles nestling on the sands.

Day Two : For those interested in watching the hatchlings, the early morning hours are perfect. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel .Having enjoyed the morning we proceed to visit Wadi Bani Khalid. It comprises of small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes. We continue our drive on to the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and White Sea of sand and dunes rising up to 200 meters, which are, also host to a variety of Flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographers delight. Experience a roller coaster like feeling over the dunes. Overnight stay at the Al Raha Camp.

Day Three : After Breakfast at 0800 hrs. depart for Nizwa. via Sinaw to Nizwa, capital of the interior, is the birth place of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Enroute to Nizwa visit the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz situated at the foothills of Jabal Akhdar (green mountains). Enjoy a walk through its oasis and dense date plantations. Overnight stay at the Golden Tulip Nizwa hotel.

Day Four : Nizwa boasts of the famous Round Tower fort, built in the 17th century, and its Souq renowned for its Friday cattle auction, intricately hand-carved "khanjars" (daggers) & ornamental silver jewellery. Drive past the village of Bahla onto Jabrin. Jabrin, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th century, became a seat of Omani learning. The castle displays the highest achievement in Omani ceiling painting & beautifully executed wood carvings. Visit the ruins of an old village at Tanuf with its crumbling mud walls and serene atmosphere. Drive back to Muscat.

Northern Oman Roundtrip (5Days 4Nights)

1st day: Depart Muscat. Visit Seeb fish market. Visit fort & hot water springs in Nakhl. Drive through Wadi Mistal to Wakan village. Drive further into Wadi Abyadh. Return via Nakhl & proceed to Al Sawadi Beach Resort. Overnight stay in Al Sawadi Beach Resort.

2nd day: Depart Al Sawadi & proceed to visit Al Hazm Fort. Drive further to Rustaq to visit the hot water springs. Cross the mountains through Wadi Bani Ghafer to drive via Miskin & Dariz visiting the famous old tombs of Al Ain & Baat. Reach Nizwa & check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Falaj Daris Hotel / Nizwa Hotel.

3rd day: Visit the fort & souk in Nizwa. Proceed to Bahla to visit old pottery workshops. Drive further to visit Jabreen castle. Drive back to Al Hamra to view old mud houses. Visit Misfah mountain village and continue via Wadi Ghul to Jebel Shams. View Grand Canyon of Oman & Wadi Nakher. On the way back to Nizwa, visit ruins of old mud houses & wadi in Tanuf. Overnight stay in Falaj Daris / Nizwa Hotel.
